Hot on the heels of last week's announcement of OpenSocial v0.8 availability in the sandbox, we have planned an extended IRC office hour period this week. Chat with us anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 18th, by pointing your favorite IRC client to irc.freenode.net and joining the opensocial channel. Engineers will be on hand to answer any questions regarding last week's update or any other OpenSocial topics such as container support, the latest and greatest development and latency combat techniques, what you can expect in forthcoming updates, etc. You can add this event directly to your calendar by clicking the button below.

And in case you haven't heard, orkut and iGoogle engineers have standing office hours in the same channel every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., so this is a great opportunity to get your development questions answered in real time.
